Mastering Krav Maga is not simply about self-defense moves and counterattacks; it's about understanding real-world violent situations. While other defensive styles prepare to defend, for example, against a shove or single-punch attack, MKM emphasizes that real-world situational training must give you a fighting chance to survive nearly any dangerous situation. This includes defending against adversaries who are trained fighters, sometimes many in number, and who may also be wielding weapons.

Who has David Kahn trained?
David has trained all branches of the U.S. military, including special operations forces for the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Coast Guard, plus federal and state law enforcement.
Grandmaster Haim Gidon
Grandmaster Haim Gidon, tenth dan and IKMA (Israeli Krav Maga Association – Gidon System) president, heads the Association from the IKMA main training center in Netanya, Israel. The IKMA is the original governing body for Israeli Krav Maga and is recognized by the Israeli government.
Haim was a member of Krav Maga founder Imi Lichtenfeld's first training class in the early 1960s. Along with Imi and other top instructors, Haim Gidon co-founded the IKMA. In 1995 Imi nominated Haim as the top authority to grant first dan and higher Krav Maga black belts. This is the only online IKM training that holds to that certification.
Kravist Level 1, 2 and 3 certificates
We want our students to progress in the MKM curriculum. Accordingly, we offer a remote video Kravist Level certificate testing program. A student demonstrates and films the core techniques for the corresponding Kravist Level while working with a partner, uploads the video, and MKM evaluates.
Kravist Level 1: 6 month MKM membership. Level 2: 12 months. Level 3: 18 months. Students must show proper technique, ability, and willingness within the content of this system.
